Creative Direction + Brand Photography for High-Impact Product Launches

The Challenge

Fenty Skin, Rihanna’s skincare line, partnered with GRIT Studio to create visually compelling social imagery for two major product drops: Melt Awf and Cherry Dub. The goal was to develop distinct artistic directions for each launch—concepts that would break through the noise, spark social engagement, and stay true to Fenty’s bold, elevated brand voice.

Deliver launch-ready social creative that:

  • Tells a clear, product-first visual story

  • Aligns with Fenty’s aesthetic and creative standards

  • Excites and engages their audience across organic and paid social

The Solution

GRIT Studio developed two unique art directions, custom-built for each product:

  • Melt Awf: A candle-inspired art direction that visualized the effortless "melting away" of makeup. The vision and execution were sensual, drippy, and tactile, evoking the luxurious texture and cleansing power of the product.

  • Cherry Dub: A bold, juicy red concept inspired by the product’s signature ingredient. The art direction was playful, energetic, and vibrant, bringing the cherry theme to life through color, texture, and confident styling that emphasized the product’s body + face benefits.

The Results

Fenty Skin launched both products with scroll-stopping social content that stood out in feed, aligned with brand, and amplified campaign energy. GRIT delivered visuals that were conceptual, fun, and high-converting—built for performance and designed to make an impact.
